Hopeless Romantic
I don't know if you're the type that wins things. I'm definitely not! I hadn't won anything in ages. AGES! And then I won two blog giveaways in a row. TWO! It's really too much. But I'm grateful, because that's probably my quota for the decade. Ha.
The first giveaway was a scrummy, amazing, over-the-top "More is More" giveaway from Tales from an OC Cottage. This is only a small fraction of what showed up on my doorstep! There were glittery things and crafty things and gorgeous books. I put most of it away for later (trying to clean up, here, right?). But I had had had to show you these gorgeous dishes and adorable hand-painted sign!
While you're admiring the gorgeousness of it all, let me tell you that I have never read a funnier crafting blog. Not ever. So you have to stop by and see her. I promise you will not be disappointed. The cats! The sisters! The glitter! It's the best.
Oh, and, make sure to scroll down and click on the gorgeous china cabinet to see more. It's seriously drool worthy, and I have a printout that I plan to shamelessly copy use as inspiration as soon as my china hutch is painted (which should be sometime this century, I'm sure of it).
But back to the lovely dishes. Under that gorgeous frilly square rose plate (above), there's this beautiful dish:
Also in the box was this little cup and saucer and an added extra frilly saucer, too:
Of course the pièce de résistance has to be this gorgeous bird plate. Love this!
Oh, I love the floral dishes.
So if you love glitter and pink (definitely pink), then go see more more more. Oh yes, and before you go, please, be forewarned: do not drink any beverages while reading! Unless you like to lose your drink out your nose. In which case, go right ahead. Myself, personally, I have a strict "no drinking" policy when reading Tales from an OC Cottage.
Trust me.

That's so funny, because in the last couple of weeks I've won two different giveaways too! It was so unexpected but nice, definitely made my day both times. Pretty plates, they remind me of my grandmother, she had lots of pretty teacups and plates and china.

Nice score. I love all the plates. My personal favs are the square plate and the birdie plate. Very pretty.
