Speaking of thrifting, I found this chandelier at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in my town and couldn't leave without it. It's not vintage, but it has a nice cottage style and it's in perfect condition. I'm either going to put it over the soon-to-be-window-seat in the family room or use it in my bedroom over my bed. Decisions, decisions.
But that's not the best part. The best part is that I was in Home Depot (aka Home Deposit) the other day, and as I was cutting through the lighting section I glanced up and saw this. Yes, it's the same chandelier. The exact same. I couldn't quite see the tag so I went around to the other side, and...
Goodness gracious, my thrifted $25 chandelier costs $105.98 new. $105.98! Man, I love thrifting!
So, I have to ask. With all this thrifting talk going on, have any of you tried it that hadn't before?
